PL Week 38

I am under the weather with a cold/sinus thing. I was so stuffed up that I got up in the middle of the night to slept on the couch. I found Pepper cuddled on the love seat. She was snoring and never heard me turn the light on, take her photo or settle in. I left her there even though my rule is no dogs on the couch.

MJ is 16 today! Her birthday always sneaks up on me, not sure if it is the start of school routines or what but today we all were so busy with normal Wednesday things. She barely had time to blow candles out.

I am always amazed with her, she has decided to hold off on getting her licenses for now, mainly because the second segment class will interfere with her work and school work. She seems to have her plan and I will let her play this out. We love you boog.

“Mancation 2014”- this year the trip was to Pittsburgh, PA to watch a couple of Pirates baseball games.  This picture is of PNC Park where the Pirates play.  The ballpark is beautiful as is the city itself.  Another great vacation for Hubby with some of his good friends.

On the way back from Mancation, the “boys” stopped at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH.  Hubby has been a diehard football fan since he was young so this was someplace he wanted to visit someday.  The only downside was that, with all of the news of the past few years about the violence both in the game and outside the game, some of the luster has worn off.  Hubby said the visit last year to the Baseball HOF was probably more inspiring than the Football HOF.  Still a good visit, but not quite as exciting as it might have been.

Today was the Delta 2 mile, JD PR’d with 10:04 for 3rd place. Midland won 1st place over Heritage, which they were very pleased with.

Syd lost another tooth! Now both girls have no top front teeth. I think we are done losing teeth for a while. These two look so funny when they smile now.
