As soon as Hubby starts microwaving his Chicken Primavera Lean Cuisine Syd comes running. She grabs two forks and waits for it to come out. She is insistent that he share his lunch with her. She eats the noodles and Hubby is left with mainly veggies. He grouses about it but I think he enjoys this very much.
the snow was mostly melted but now it snowing again. Ugh, I am sooo ready for winter to be over!
JD’s track season started today with an indoor meet at CMU. He ran just the 3200 (16 times around the track). He came in 1st with 10:07.3. The guy that placed 2nd was 3 seconds behind him. A great start to the season.
I left today for a weekend crop and Hubby was in charge of the house. He took the girls to G-town to see his mom (they dress themselves and went without combing their hair, I might add) They do enjoy hanging with dad, I believe that besides seeing Grandma, Happy Meals, DQ and Slurpees are the highlights of their weekend.
I went to Treetops Resort in Gaylord for my crop. They run a contest every year based on the crop’s theme. This year it was Mardi Gras. This is the first contest I participated in in the 3 years of coming to this crop. We were to create a mask made of paper crafting materials. Mine was made of all paper and gemstones and was huge.
I won first place and a $250 gift certificate the a future crop. Yay! The picture on the left is the top 3 winners.
The crop attendance was low this time. There were only about 40 scrappers, sad but we did get 4 tables for the 2 of us to spread out. It was very nice to have our PC, sewing machine and cutting machines on separate tables, made using them much easier. The food was excellent as always and I got 13-14 pages done! Yay me!
