MotherLOAD 6

Todays prompt was to create a page about me but I have something brewing in my head for that page and it was not ready to come into the light today. We see if I can get it worked out before LOAD is done.

Instead I finished up  page that I have been working on for a few weeks about JD.

Day 6

We worry what a child will become tomorrow…yet we forget that he is someone today.

Journaling reads:

I read this quote today and I thought of you, Jake.

Your dad and I worry about your future in many ways. We try to get you to see that hidden pitfalls of not caring about your grades, not having a plan and a plan B and not saving your money. All things I think every parent worries about.

In our panic that you only have 3 more years before you are considered an adult, we fail to tell you often enough that you are a great kid with great qualities. You are kind, caring, funny, you stand up for what you believe, a great runner, a fast thinker, great problem solver and an awesome artist; just to name a few. We are proud of you. Whatever the future holds for you, I think you can handle it and figure out how to make it work for you.

I love you always, mom
