This afternoon MJ wanted to bake something. She searched through my “Better Homes and Garden New Cookbook” {copyright 1989}, a wedding gift from 16 years ago. She decided on Cake Brownies on pg. 107 because we had all the ingredients and it was labeled as “Easy”.
She did a great job and followed the recipe to a tee even including the walnuts. After the brownies were done she said that she wished the recipe did not have walnuts because she does not think she like walnuts. When I told her that she could have left them out she made a face. I figured it would be a lesson learned.
